Bristol 410 Engine Rebuild

The engine in this Bristol was still running well but had very low oil pressure. The owner decided that rather than let it get worse, to rebuild it now. The engine and transmission were removed and the engine stripped.
We found multiple problems, firstly with the cooling, and corrosion was removed from the engine block. In the past, the core plugs in the engine had been replaced, but instead of being removed, they were still inside the block, causing a restriction.
The camshaft bearings were breaking up, causing the low oil pressure. All major components were replaced and fully balanced.n The transmission was also overhauled before refitting to the car.
The result is a Bristol 410 that is even more pleasurable to drive.
